Despite what can only be described as a bloodbath on the scales a day earlier, Friday’s LFA 225 had all the fights set for Ginásio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil.
While some of those fights were preliminary card fights – as many as three prelims fighters missed weight – it was the main event that really packed a punch. The interim flyweight title fight between Marcos Degli and Luis Aguiar became a one-sided affair when Aguiar also missed weight by just one pound. This left only Degli eligible to win the title.
