In keeping with the history of epic heavyweight battles taking center stage at GLORY’s tentpole COLLISION events, Levi Rigters (21-4, 11 KO) will face the returning Antonio Plazibat (22-5, 16 KO) in a major main event at GLORY COLLISION 8 from the GelreDome football stadium in Arnhem, Netherlands, on December 13.

At stake is an official wildcard spot for the finals of the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament, which will now take place in early 2026.
It has been almost two and a half years since Plazibat last took action. The 31-year-old Croatian star has since been recovering from an arm injury and is now finally ready to step back into the GLORY ring.

Originally scheduled to fight in the main event of GLORY 95 in Zagreb last September, an injury prevented Plazibat from entering the ring that night. Since then, Rigters has challenged Rico Verhoeven for the heavyweight title and has racked up highlights this year, including a spinning back kick KO win over Jamal Ben Saddik this summer.

COLLISION 8 also features two four-man one-night tournaments in the welterweight and light heavyweight divisions.

At welterweight, current GLORY World Champion Chico Kwasi (45-5-2, 23 KO), former champion Endy Semeleer (36-2, 18 KO), former number one contender Teador Hristov (18-4, 7 KO) and a yet-to-be-announced fighter will make up the field.

Last Heavyweight Standing finalist Milos Cvjeticanin (16-4, 9 KO), 2024 ‘Newcomer of the Year’ Cem Caceres (19-2, 14 KO), ‘The Timebomb’ Michael Boapeah (21-5-1, 9 KO), and a yet-to-be-announced fighter will be part of the light heavyweight tournament.

In addition, the remaining quarterfinals of the GLORY Last Featherweight Standing will take place at COLLISION 8. GLORY champion and considered P4P best in the world Petch (174-40-3, 27 KO) meets German-Polish fighter Denis Wosik (40-9-1, 9 KO), Miguel Trindade (63-8, 26 KO) and Bobo Sacko (79-6-1, 30).
