According to bankers, the company wants to take advantage of continued investor interest in large public offerings.
“Lenskart may announce the price range by the end of October and launch the IPO in the first week of November,” a banker said. Brokerage Groww is also looking to launch its initial public offering (IPO) worth ₹7,000 crore in early November.
Emails sent to Lenskart and the bankers went unanswered. Kotak Mahindra Capital, Morgan Stanley, Citi, Avendus and Axis Capital are among the leading book managers of Lenskart’s issue.
The issue includes a fresh issue of ₹2,150 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 13.23 crore equity shares by existing shareholders.
The sale offer includes shares of promoters Peyush Bansal, Neha Bansal, Amit Chaudhary and Sumeet Kapahi, besides some private equity firms. Lenskart posted a net profit of ₹297 crore in FY25, against a net loss of ₹10 crore in FY24. Revenue stood at ₹6,652 crore in FY25, up from ₹5,428 crore in the previous year.
