Leicester City have informed staff that their usual early payment for December will not go ahead. What is strange about this message is not the delay itself, but the fact that the workers received the message the day before wages were due.
Leicester City staff expect this payment before Christmas. This is a new negative point in several other posts about various issues facing the club going forward.
You can read this in different ways. Some believe this is just another disorderly event happening on top of what is already going on. Others think this will be resolved. We are surprised that King Power believes they can do away with traditional values and simply skip what is normal and traditional in order to pay salaries early in time for Christmas.
You can of course speculate about this, with different ideas about negative thoughts. The recent development at King Power suggests that they are well into securing a good contract to continue their operations at Thai airports. But we all know the battle ahead and since the pandemic it has been a very difficult situation for the club ownership.

There are different ideas, but let’s be honest and believe what the club has announced: this is not a cash flow problem.
Positive news was published about it on December 3 King power and their ongoing contract negotiations to restructure and build a new and better foundation for their future business. This is based on a strong relationship with AOT.
The recent news about this payment issue appears to be a one-off event and a single error, which hopefully won’t happen again. This does not affect all club personnel, but only certain parties.
Not good to see negative headlines, but we are still confident that the club is under good guidance and that this will be resolved in the best possible way.
