Lego unveiled its most ambitious product in almost 50 years at CES 2026 Smart brick – a 2×4 Lego brick containing an entire computer. The brick contains light and sound capabilities, motion sensors, a microphone and Bluetooth mesh network that allows multiple bricks to communicate with each other.
When it detects NFC-equipped smart tags embedded in special Lego tiles and minifigures, it activates effects like whirring lightsabers, roaring engines and glowing blasters. The custom computer chip inside is smaller than a single Lego stud.
Three Star Wars sets will launch on March 1: a $70 TIE Fighter set, a $100 X-Wing set and a $160 Throne Room set. The bricks charge wirelessly and are designed to last for years, so The Force is sure to be there.
