There were not so many rumors from Lauri Markkanen this summer. This is mainly because Markkanen comes from a season plagued by injuries where his figures fell, which coincided with his thick new contract extension. Of course the story about him is a bit reversed because of his Eurobasket tournament, which, if he were continued with the Utah -Jazz, could make him the best commercial candidate this coming season.
Zach Lowe discussed this in his show in restoring some of the most popular storylines that are currently going on in the NBA. He outlined how the revival of Markkanen could lead to him being the hottest name in the trade market.

If that guy rebuilds his commercial value, because he has a big contract in a large year, he is the most interesting trade candidate in the NBA in the NBA, four months * IF * this continues.
Markkans, who looks like this this season for jazz, should make Utah infinitely much nicer to see after the catastrophe who had to specify the fans last season. The jazz will probably be bad anyway because of their youth and the power of the West, but fans will at least get a show from him. But Lowe is correct in the fact that if he returns to form, there will be a lot of attention about whether the jazz plan to keep it.
Even if jazz makes it clear that Markkanen is not available, the circumstances will only keep the rumors alive because teams want him (if he returns to form) and the jazz will be bad enough for everyone to think it makes sense.
Markkanen may be paid for as a mega star, but playoff channels want unique players like him because of what he brings to the table. His versatility and the matchup problems that he creates as a scorer would make a competition very enthusiastic about their prospects.

It has now been mentioned several times that Markkans looks more like his old self, the trade will feed rumors. No matter how the situation shakes, it proves that Utah was right to extend him for the price that the team did.
Although there is an honest matter to make the jazz better off to take advantage of its commercial value as long as they can still, there is also a good thing for them to show him whether he can lead their next Playoff team. Even if the hypothetical playoff team may not flourish for a few years.
