Lauri Markkanen gets much better Eurobasket ranking

The mission of Lauri Markkanen in the Eurobasket has been to remind the world how good he is when it is unleashed. The Utah Jazz star has dominated the Eurobasket -Friendly competitions for his home country, Finland. His versions have fallen so well that he received the ranking he earns among Eurobasket players as the fourth best player.

Markkanen is absolutely not at the same level as some of his other NBA agents who play in the tournament, such as Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetkounmpo and Luka Doncic, but he was correctly arranged by number 4 by Eurhoops.

This is a huge step forward compared to Eurobasket rankings from ESPN, which placed him at number 7 behind those three, Plus Alps Sengun, Franz Wagner and Kristaps Porzingis. Perhaps the reason he got more love because of how fantastic he was looking for Finland in every exhibition.

Markkanen may not have regularly set up 40-point performance, but he has shown that he is talented enough in the NBA to do that at that level. His recovery of the type of player he is in Eurobasket may have made him rise a bit by the ranks.

Can Finland cause some damage in the tournament?

Although Markkanen himself resembles his old self, we should not forget that he is the only Finnish player in the NBA, and only one of the three players in the history of the country in the NBA. Although he can do what he can do, they need contributions from everyone.

What is even more important, there will be an NBA representation for many foreign teams. Serbia has a number of excellent NBA talent that goes beyond Nikola Jokic. Bogdan Bogdanovic, Nikola Jovic and Trsitan Vuckevic will also be in the team.
