Race 4: Starter optional claim $ 16,000, 3-year-olds and up, 1 1/16 miles (grass)
10-8-3-9
#10 Bourbon Outlaw (8-5) Stupid and just missed the last in his second start since he came to the Anthony Farrior Barn. His running style and post position make him susceptible to be caught, but he has a strong staircase, he is in sharp, improving shape and Jevian Toledo comes on board for the first time. #8 Perfect gift (5-2) His girl broke here at the end of June in a long rack fight and now gets class aid after twice confronted with rivals in Virginia-restricted compensation. #3 Tyson’s delivery (4-1) Also has a recent victory over this song, better confronted in his last start and should work a good journey on or near the pace from the inside.
Race 5: Maiden claims $ 16,000, 2-year-olds, 5 1/2 Furlongs
1-2-10-8
#1 in honor of Jeff (6-1) Ran a big race on debut in Timonium. He fought with a rival on his outside and eventually lost to him through a head. He should again show speed on the rail in a race with six first starters. #2 The Big Ben (8-1) Ran a career-best race when second place on grass was showered and earned a 67. He just leaves in honor of Jeff on his outside and tries to melt him. # 10 I Missile (2-1) was a pace-hunting second in his first career outing in Timonium. It was a particularly impressive race given that he was the only first starter in the field, and he was second to a rival who opened two lengths in the opening quarter. That is an impossible situation for someone to close, let alone a first starter, so he ran almost to expect considering the circumstances.
Race 6: Senginable dashboard dashboard, 3-year-olds and up, mares and mares, 6 furlongs (grass)
4-6-11-9
Today’s first race is named after the six -fold interest -winning mare of the early years 2010. #4 Lifeloven Laughter (3-1) This spring and summer has rattled three victories in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, including back-to-back stakes victories in the Jamesa Stakes and the All Brandy Stakes. She is confronted here with a little stiffer competition, but she prefers shorter distances and will enjoy the cutback of 1 1/16 miles. #6 Loon Cry (6-1) Last year this race won with a dramatic step for the preliminary day. Since then she has no longer won in five attempts, but she has proven herself here about the long part of six Furlong Races. #11 Twirling Beauty (7-2) For the first time, tries grass in her debut for the Robert Falcone Barn. She set a fast pace on her own will in the Lady Erie Stakes Last Out on Presque Isle Downs and held in to finish third. She looks quickly enough to cross from the outside and to be the controlling speed.
Race 7: All in the posts, 3-year-olds and higher, mares and mares, 1 1/8 miles (grass)
6-4-1-3
We go on the grass for a long time in a race in honor of the legendary grass mare, who conquered the Washington DC International from 1983 on the way to Horse of the Year Honors. #6 No show Sammy Jo (9-5) Won this race last year as the 1-2 favorite. Although you will probably again get a similar little mutuel, she looms as the one who needs to be defeated. She almost passed on a very difficult reimbursement field two starts back at aqueduct and has the best early pace figures here. Jorge Ruiz can send her forward, or keep her just from the pace and be in excellent condition anyway. #4 moped (5-1) Her girl broke against a solid field on the Black-Eyed Susan Day Undercard, then set the pace and held second in her next two attempts against winners. She can only set the pace herself, and even if no Show Sammy Jo overwhelms her, she can hold the rest and exhaust the exactly. #1 Sirona (5-2) Several group steps were placed in Europe last year and now makes her American debut. She is the wildcard of the field and I am curious how much action she takes.
Race 8: Laurel Dash, 3-year-olds and up, 6 furlongs (grass)
3-4-11-1
#3 Naughty Angel (4-1) Ran a big race here earlier this year. In his first start of a dismissal of 6 ½ months, he finished second in the Henry Clark Stakes, who briefly led before he was run away and settled for the second time. He tends to let his best races go in turn, and that’s what he will do here. #4 Live High Live Low (7-2) Gate-to-Wire Last Out went in Monmouth Park, in his first start of a nine-month dismissal. He showed the improvement of the form by the end of last year and has ample opportunity to reduce his last race. #11 Smooth B (15-1) A strong-Closed third ended in the Marshall Jenney Stakes on Penn National Last Out, in his first grass start in more than a year. He is overshadowed by Stablemate Fore Harp, but this 10-year-old veteran has a lot of own talent and can shake the exotics at a good price.
Race 9: Claim $ 12,500 (conditioned), 3-year-olds and higher, 7 furlongs
7-6-2-3
#7 Happy in (9-2) Come out of the center to break his girl at colonial downs, ran in the 70s before the second consecutive unpaved start. He may be more at home at a kilometer from a turn, but is still a serious late threat to this. #6 Bad Boy Blaze (20-1) a much reinforced second ended for the last start of a three -month resignation. He has speed from outside and looms up as a serious action candidate. #2 Strategist (8-5) Was an easy first winner in his most recent outing, but it was in a race with four horses that he could not really lose. He showed some talent in Kentucky this spring and is perhaps the best horse, but be wary of taking a low price of that last race. He almost had To win it in impressive style.
