Race 4: Maiden Claims $ 12,500, 3-6 year olds, 6 Furlongs
6-8-4-3
#6 Valerie Street (2-1) Ran a 74 and a 68 in her last two dirt. None of her rivals got so fast in more than a year. She made nine start and makes her one of the more experienced horses in the field. Yet she is in improving the shape and is confronted with a simpler field than she had. #8 Spirit and Truth (6-1) Ran a 75 debut last May, but has almost not driven so quickly since then. She went to the sidelines after this spring, returns here and has shown just enough recent promise to make her an upset threat. #4 Litlegirljustice (9-2) Improved seven points to a 65 -second time -out on grass as the last and switches to dirt for the first time. She pressed the pace and faded last time, but it was the first time she showed so much speed and could be dangerous at the leadership.
Race 5: Claim $ 12,500 (N/W2L), 3-year-olds and higher, 6 Furlongs
7-6-2-1
#7 Who says it (2-1) Raced similar races at this level in her last two starts at colonial downs, rises and lacked with less than a length. She walked out a career-best 76 last, the best last figure in the race with eight points. #6 Candycrumbs (5-2) A game ended second in his first attempt at this level, in a race where Nola boss broke at the top and she walked off their feet. This shifts back to dirt after a few disappointing races on the lawn. #2 Twice gold (6-1) Was relaxed after the end of the bleeding and makes his first start since that start of 20 June. He has had many opportunities against non-winners of two types, but he can also run consistently in the 1970s, something that most of these cannot. He is a good horse to bet under places.
Race 6: Maiden claims $ 45,000, 3-6 year olds, 5 1/2 Furlongs (grass)
7-12-6-10 (dirt: 12-4-5-6)
#7 Stanza (4-1) Found himself in the national spotlights for a very unfortunate reason. He was in the middle of a large movement in Colonial when he was cut off and fell, which caused serious injury to Jockey Tyler Conner. He came back to the Werkab in mid -September and has two good exercises for owner/breeder/trainer Lizzie Merryman. He ran a strong 77 debut in Delaware Park, would probably have run somewhere in that reach if he didn’t fall, and is now confronted with a fairly soft field while he could bypass the claim tag. #12 The Commits (9-2) Walked enormously on the first first dismissal of 11 months, two started back and then faded after a rough break. He makes his first start of a fresh use of two months, as well as his first local performance after three starts against colleague New York-Breds. He may be fast enough to remove the head, even from his distant mail. #6 Kathmandu (8-1) Showed some late punch on debut in Charles Town, and is now trying grass for the first time as he attracted Arnaldo Bocacca in front of the mountain.
Race 7: Allowance Optional Claiming (N/W2X), 3-year-olds and Up, 5 1/2 Furlongs (Grass)
5-12-3-8 (dirt: 11-8-7-9)
We will try another promising Lizzie Merryman -Stagee. #5 Monsieur Candy (5-1) Ran a game race against enemies on the first level as the last on Colonial. He fought with a renowned Mike Trombetta-Stagee billionaires Row, who defeated winners in his previous start at Saratoga. Monsieur Candy finally had the upper hand through a neck, which ran at least 85 for the third time in his last four starts. #12 Swill (9-2) Won at this level at Colonial three starts ago, and pressed the pace and hit the board against the same types in his next two races. He has enough early speed to establish a good position, even from the outside. #3 speed figures (6-1) Has become gate-to-wire in four of his last seven starts, and she almost offered them last in Monmouth Park before they were run by Gold Trust, who won the Joey P. Handicap in his next start. As noted, there is a lot of speed in this race, but it will at least be able to protect the railway position.
Race 8: Allowance (n/w1x), 3-year-olds and higher, mares and mares, 1 mile
5-3-4-6
Nobody here has a lot of speed, but #5 Rowie Express (5-2) Has at least been close to the pace in many of her recent starts. If Mychel Sanchez is aggressive enough, he can put this mare on the lead and let her cruise about what could be a largely undisputed lead. #3 Answer (2-1) Ran a huge race in the Weber City Miss Stakes in April, closed a slow pace and lost with less than a length. She was well beaten in her next three starts, but those races were all against better rivals than the one she will see here. Maybe the class trap will inspire her a bit. #4 audible (6-1) Has a great closing speed and is reunited with Jaime Rodriguez, who won on board her on this track and distance in February.
Race 9: Allowance (N/W1X), 3-year-olds and higher, mares and mares, 1 1/16 miles (grass)
7-2-1-9 (dirt: 6-4-2-5)
#7 Summer Whirl (3-1) Was surpassed against the rivals in New York-bred fee in her last start, but was closed strongly and just missed versus that types two grass races back. This will be her first Maryland start after excluding calculating in New York to start her career, and she gets Jorge Ruiz on board for the first time. #2 Stop Watch (5-1) Her grass debut made a winning last and took advantage of a rapid pace to win professionally at Delaware. She is the only one in the field that has not lost against winners, and the only one without loss on this surface. #1 Gogo Chanel (5-2) The early leader Timeless Rose last called out, but could not find the rising princess Javoncia and was forced to settle for the second.
Race 10: Maiden claims $ 16,000, 3-6 year olds, mares and mares, 5 1/2 furlongs (grass)
12-2-3-14 (dirt: 12-5-6-4)
#12 Stars align (7-2) Ran a career-best 72 for the last time, where she came well for second place, but could not pass the well-intended Fahnee in the early days of the meeting, one of the many winners of the Suzanne Stettinius Barn. This is slightly cleared and quickly improving the shape. #2 My Gray Humor (3-1) Finished a neck behind the stars as last apart, neatly returning from a flat attempt to MONMOUTH ago in Monmouth two races. She is better confronted for most of her career, went well when she dropped to this level in that most recent race and should stay at this level. #3 Greetings No (5-1) I just missed in her first two starts of the season and search for a rebound after a slender excuse that is last. Since then she has at least a good training under her belt.
