On the ATP Tour, players have enhanced their professional legacy in 2025 by combining competitive performance with off-court contributions to charities.

Jannik Sinner, No. 2 in the PIF ATP Rankings, launched the Jannik Sinner Foundation in April. The Italian is committed to empowering children through education and sport. “The idea behind it [this] is very simple: I want to give something back,” Sinner said in a video announcement. “Children are our future and everything we do in the foundation is aimed at helping them. We focus on two main areas: sports development and children’s education.”

Sinner’s fellow ATP Tour star Andrey Rublev is also involved in charity work. The Andrey Rublev Foundation partnered with the Bambino Gesu Children’s Hospital in Rome, one of the leading children’s hospitals in the world, to support medical care for underprivileged children.

Rublev visited the hospital ahead of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in May and spent time with members of the medical staff and patients undergoing treatment. The 17-time tour-level titlist also provided presents for the children.

Holger Rune continued his involvement with the Danish organization Børns vilkår, which acts as a helpline for children in need. In addition to financial donations, Rune has also auctioned off a competitive racket and a private lesson, he revealed in an Instagram post in April.

The Novak Djokovic Foundation and Lacoste collaborated to inaugurate the ‘Novak Djokovic Tennis Court’ in Belgrade, the birthplace of the 101-time tour-level title winner. Located in the heart of Djokovic’s hometown, the court features a unique design that pays tribute to his career and offers young people the opportunity to discover tennis while also participating in educational, cultural and creative activities.

The tennis community in Acapulco, Mexico, including HSBC’s Abierto Mexicano Telcel host, rallied to rebuild after the devastating impact of Hurricane Otis in October 2023. Mextenis, organizers of the ATP 500, are supporting partners of Mexican non-profit organization Construyendo, which had delivered 73 newly built homes to affected families at the time of this year’s tournament.
