Last rides of the old year and first of the new

Last Tuesday, December 30, was our last group ride of the year. I pinch-hit as leader and took the group southwest of Morgan Hill to the end of the Redwood Retreat Road and back. It was a nice ride, the rain from the week before was over, but it was turning a bit gray as another series of storms were approaching.

On Wednesday I snuck in for a ride while we still had scattered showers. I cut my ride short when the heavy storm hit and ended up riding my indoor bike. Thursday was my first ride of the new year. It was gray but not raining yet (that happened later in the day) so I was able to get in a decent ride locally.

Yesterday we unexpectedly got some sunshine between storms, so I went for a nice two-hour drive, starting the new year off right. I shot some video footage on this ride and all the photos below are stills from the videos, which are of decent quality.
