There is a property on the market in the Hills suburb of Glenhaven.
Prepare to get jealous.
A Grade II listed Sydney estate with a tennis court, dam, 10-car garage and a downstairs ‘wellness retreat’ with an indoor pool, steam room, sauna and gym is for sale.
The acreage owned by the family behind development company Allam Property Group is expected to hit the market next week in what could be a record-breaking sale for Sydney’s Hills District.
The Glenhaven property, described as a ‘statement home’, last sold in 2019 for $8.8 million, but broke records in 2015 when it sold for $9 million – the highest price ever paid for a Hills District home at the time.
The property last sold in 2019 for $8.8 million.
It is spread over five hectares.
The home features a wellness retreat with a pool, steam room and more.

It was purchased in 2019 by project developer Barney Allam OAM, who died last year.
Mr Allam was the driving force behind Allam Property Group, which he founded in 1991 and built into one of Australia’s top five builders. He left behind four children and four grandchildren.
Sales agency Merc Real Estate said no price guide will be released for the new listing and the house will be available “via expressions of interest”.
Agent Mechlenne Douaihy remained tight-lipped about what the expected sales price would be, but noted that numerous celebrities and richlisters showed interest when the home was last for sale in 2019.
Local sources said the Gilmour Rd home could set a new precedent for prices in the fast-growing Hills District.

There is an air-conditioned cellar.
The house was built almost twenty years ago.
The highest price yet for a house in the region was the $15 million paid in July for a six-bedroom plot in Middle Dural.
Known as ‘Petalinda’, the 1.9 hectare Glenhaven estate is five hectares in size and features a 14-person sauna, commercial-grade bar, 23-metre indoor swimming pool, tennis court and gym.
The house is spread over three levels. There are six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
The security system uses fingerprint scanning technology and there are security cameras throughout the property.
Ms Douaihy said one of the things that set the house apart was the level of detail in the landscaping, noting the presence of numerous sculptures and rare trees.
The property set a new Hills record in 2015.
The Glenhaven home is praised for its landscaping and water features.
No price guide has been released.
“This house is the most talked about and most iconic house in the neighborhood,” she said. “I haven’t seen anything like this in 22 years of (working in) real estate.”
The building has changed hands several times in the 2010s. It was previously owned by restaurateur Frank Criniti, who sold the house for $9 million in 2015.
At the time, the deal also included furnishings such as an $89,000 Gucci suitcase, a $22,000 Hermes chair and a $120,000 wine cellar.
The property was sold exactly two years later, without the inclusions, for $7 million.
