The Lakers will be without Luka Doncic (left groin soreness), Austin Reaves (left calf strain) and Adou Thiero (right MCL sprain). Deandre Ayton (left knee soreness) and Jaxson Hayes (left hamstring tendinopathy) are listed as questionable.
Doncic leads the team with 33.6 points, 7.7 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game, followed by Reaves with 26.6 points and 6.3 assists. LeBron James adds 22.7 points and 5.8 rebounds, while Ayton contributes 13.9 points and 8.7 rebounds.
Portland faces significant absences, including Damian Lillard (left Achilles tendon), Scoot Henderson (left hamstring), Matisse Thybulle (right knee), Kris Murray (lumbar injury), Blake Wesley (right foot fracture) and Jrue Holiday (right calf, questionable). Jerami Grant and Deni Avdija are listed as doubtful or doubtful.
Avdija leads the Blazers with 26.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game, followed by Shaedon Sharpe with 21.5 points and 4.5 rebounds, and Grant with 19.8 points and 4.0 rebounds.
The Lakers are coming off a 135-117 loss to the Hornets, snapping a one-game winning streak after a 141-116 victory over Atlanta.
Portland defeated Atlanta 117-101 in its most recent game and has a 20-22 record, just outside the playoffs in the Western Conference.
Both teams split their previous meetings this season, with Portland winning 122-108 on October 27 and Los Angeles earning a 123-115 victory on November 3.
