With the theme ‘Maritime India – Innovations and Collaborations’, the seminar will focus on transforming India’s maritime sector and consider strategic pathways to achieve the country’s vision of becoming a global maritime superpower.

The event will feature focused panel discussions and technical paper presentations on: policy frameworks and new legislation to accelerate Indian shipping and inland waterways; Growth of infrastructure for shipping, shipbuilding and repair and ship recycling; adoption of greener technologies to achieve decarbonization goals; Innovative training methodologies for skills in alternative fuels, digitalization, autonomous systems and artificial intelligence; development of maritime clusters to address emerging challenges domestically; Improvements in logistics and supply chain systems for sustainable growth.
