Stefan Bondy of The Post looks at some of the biggest storylines to watch the Knicks training camp:
Battle
It is for a schedule. As it looks now, the Knicks have the cap-space to sign only one veteran and they bring five to the camp for non-arenely Deals-Malcolm Brogdon, Landry Shamet, Garrison Mathews, Alex Len and Matt Ryan. Brogdon and Shamet are the clear front runners, but an injury or inspired play of the competition can change thoughts.
Story to view develop
Who will be the fifth starter? We know Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby in the line-up. We do not yet know whether Josh Hart will return to Forward. Hart started every occasion in the regular season, but then offered itself for the reserves at the end of the play -offs. There are three possible replacement options – Mitchell Robinson, Miles McBride and Guerschon Yabusele. Much of it depends on Mike Brown’s decision for cities, like a center or a force ahead. This can be a situation in which Brown announces his intentions on Mediadag and removes the drama. Or it can be a story to follow during the preseason while brown experiments.
The Coach’s most difficult challenge
Install his culture with an increasingly influential front office. The new “cooperation” guideline also means that Brown has more chefs in the coaching room, and the tone will be located in the training camp.
