The Knicks have not made any announcements regarding Miles McBride’s surgery, but a timetable has emerged.
He underwent surgery for a sports hernia on Friday, The Post confirmed. According to a league source, his expected recovery schedule is 6 to 8 weeks.
That’s slightly faster than two experts The Post spoke to believe, who said full recovery for those types of surgeries usually takes 10-12 weeks.
McBride’s schedule would give him a chance to return before the end of the regular season.
AND Anunoby missed his third straight game in the Knicks’ 137-134 overtime loss to the Pacers at the Garden on Tuesday night.
The Knicks have changed his injury description from a sore toe to a toenail avulsion.
Landry Shamet started in his place and recorded 17 points.
Mitchell Robinson was also out, as it was the first leg of a back-to-back.

Josh Hart had a triple-double in Tuesday’s loss, recording 15 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
It was his 17th with the Knicks, moving him past Richie Guerin (who had 16) into third place on the franchise’s all-time list.
The potential availability of Jayson Tatum could have major implications for the Knicks in the playoffs.
When he tore his Achilles tendon in the playoffs against the Knicks last year, it was hard to imagine him playing for the Celtics this season. But he practiced with the Celtics G-League team on Tuesday, a big step forward in his rehabilitation.
“It doesn’t mean I’m coming back or not, I’m just following the plan,” Tatum said.
Mike Breen, the Knicks’ primary play-by-play announcer, called his first Knicks game since Jan. 19.
He had been away for more than three weeks due to his ESPN responsibilities.
