Please note, those taking the train to/from the airport. KLIA Ekspres has released a special Ramadan schedule for the fasting month, which involves the KLIA Transit service (not the non-stop KLIA Ekspres).
On weekdays, the first train from KL Sentral to KLIA2 departs at 5:03 am and the interval is every 30 minutes until 6:33 am. From then on, rush hour is until 9:03 am, with the intervals being reduced to 15 minutes. The next rush hour is from 4:03 PM to 8:03 PM, with trains arriving every 15 minutes. Otherwise it is every half hour, except between 11pm and midnight where the interval is every 20 minutes.
As for weekends and national holidays, the KLIA Transit interval is 30 minutes for the whole day, except between 11pm and midnight where it is every 20 minutes – no peak hours on weekends and on PH.
If you take the train from the airport towards the city, the first train (from KLIA2) leaves at 5:18 AM and the last train leaves at 12:30 PM. Peak hours are from 6:18 AM to 8:46 AM and from 4:18 PM to 7:46 PM on weekdays. No peak hours on weekends, only 30 minute intervals except during the last hour of the service.
This Ramadan schedule with modified peak hours runs from now until March 20.
