Klay Thompson has signed a lifetime endorsement deal with ANTA, capping a 12-year partnership that has produced more than 10 million ‘KT’ sneakers.

The news was first reported by Nick DePaula on Friday, February 13, confirming that the deal extends beyond Thompson’s playing career.

Thompson, 35, is in his first season with the Dallas Mavericks and has played in 49 games while averaging 11.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 22.1 minutes per game.

The sharpshooter is connecting on 37.5% of his three-point attempts, which equates to 2.9 per game, maintaining his reputation as a reliable perimeter threat in the Mavericks’ rotation.

Thompson reflected on the partnership, telling DePaula, “ANTA took a chance on me, and I took a chance on them. It was a match made in Heaven. When I started wearing ANTA, my career took off. I was able to break some records, win some championships, play in the All-Star Games and Olympic gold medal games.”

He added: “I am so grateful for their support, and it has inspired me to keep going. My time in Asia, the Philippines and around the world has been so special. Growing the game and seeing the fans is something I don’t take for granted and will cherish for the rest of my life.”

The ‘KT’ sneaker line has been a great commercial success for ANTA and has become one of the brand’s best-selling collections in over a decade.

The deal puts Thompson among a small group of NBA players with lifetime endorsements.

Dallas is struggling at 19-35 and 12th in the Western Conference, but Thompson provides veteran leadership alongside rising star Cooper Flagg, who is averaging 20.4 points per game.
