New York and New Jersey Wrestling fans seemed ready to lay the Smackdown on Pacers -star Tyrese Haliburton, and the Pacers star was more than happy to play the heel during Summers Lam in Metlife Stadium on Sunday.

Haliburton, a well -known wrestling enthusiast, was in the building for the second night of the WWE event that took place in the Meadowlands, although he recovers from an operation that restored a torn Achilles tendon.

He has become a villain in the eyes of many sports fans in New York because of the rivalry between the Knicks and Indiana, and he was greeted with that energy when he was shown on the video board at Metlife Stadium.

And he got it happily.

Haliburton rubbed his hands together and flashed a broad grin before the anger began what he encouraged.

He waved his arms in a movement to encourage louder anger and he could hear: “I love you too” while wwe -broadcaster Michael Cole explained the appearance of Haliburton in Summerslam.

“Yes, yes!” He went on.

It was not the only time he was booed on Sunday.

A separate video showed Haliburton prior to the start of the event that ran to his chair on the stadium floor in a walking shoe.

Was also angry at the time.

Haliburton later became involved in the campaign during the Summers Lamb when Cody Rhodes and John Cena expanded it for the undisputed WWE championship.

Cena did his gesture “You can’t see me” to Haliburton, who was in the front row, and then took one of his crutches use to attack Rhodes.

Haliburton was one of the top players in the NBA and the Pacers had helped to overthrow the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals earlier this year.

He strengthened his place as one of the most hated sports figures among fans in the area after he had a game type shot in game 1 and continued to simulate Reggie Miller’s notorious gesture.

The celebration was a bit premature because he thought he had hit a game-winning 3-pointer, but instead it was ruled on a two-point basket at De Zoemer.

Giants Quarterback Russell Wilson was also present at Summerslam and Boud Sunday.
