Driven by her young trainer Codi Rauchenberger, Kimcando tried to hold on to the early lead but Shez Sweet Louise, who was heavily backed by favouritism, showed too much speed and was brought forward by Isobel Ross.
With Distinction was caught outside the leader, after which he unfortunately separated and had to settle back in at the back of the field.
