The PFL’s “Lazy King” has a new opponent for his first fight in more than a year.

Abdoul Abdouraguimov (19-1) was originally booked to face Magomed Umalatov on next month’s PFL: Road to Dubai card on February 7. However, with Umalatov out of the fight, Kendly St. Louis (11-5) has accepted the fight instead.

That’s a significant demotion among opponents, with Umalatov himself being 18-1 and one of the promotion’s more legendary welterweights. Understandable, however, given the short-term nature of the change, which occurs just over two weeks after the event.

PFL officials announced the switch on Tuesday.

Abdouraguimov is a former two-division ARES FC champion who was a hot free agent a few years ago. The PFL managed to acquire his services, apparently from under the UFC’s nose, with the “Lazy King” making an immediate impact by winning his first three fights in the promotion’s SmartCage. However, a contract dispute forced a fight with Kevin Jusset to fall through last September, meaning Abdouraguimov won’t fight at all until 2025.

Kendly St. Louis, a two-time veteran of the dormant PFL Challenger Series, challenged for the promotion twice in 2025, going 1-1. St. Louis went 4-0 under the CFFC banner before jumping to the PFL.

PFL: Road to Dubai takes place on February 7, 2026 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, UAE. The card is headlined by a lightweight title fight between champion Usman Nurmagomedov and PFL World Tournament winner Alfie Davis.
