Promising Irish star Keith Keogh will make his third walk into the Cage Warriors cage at the RDS Arena this Saturday.
The featherweight has spent part of his camp in Thailand ahead of his third Cage Warriors fight in the infamous Bangtao Muay Thai gym. Champions such as Petr Yan and Alexander Volkanovski have regularly spent training camps there.

Speaking about the Brandon talks about fight podcastthe 145lb prospect spoke about his training in Thailand and its benefits, also mentioning the number of Irish fighters currently there.
“There are probably more Irish people than anyone else, like coaches James and Connor… It’s just a different lifestyle, like you want to get up and train in the morning, and obviously I know it’s a discipline of motivation, but the little bit of motivation to get up in the morning does help, like knowing when you get up and it’s sunny and you’re on the moped, going to the gym and things like that. It really makes you appreciate your life a little bit more when you’re there.” The weather seemed to be a positive factor in the Irishman’s training regime.
Keogh continued, saying: “You’re just a little bit happier, I think that’s the main difference… then of course having the variety of different bodies gives you that little bit of confidence when you get home.”
Keith Keogh will face Brazilian Gabriel Ramos who is making his Cage Warriors debut. The Brazilian has a 100% finish rate for all six professional wins and will be hoping to silence the Dublin crowd this weekend. Keogh is 3-0 with all wins coming via first-round stoppage. His amateur career is very impressive with a record of 14-1 before turning pro in 2024.
