The big striding brown mare came out of the gate with speed and eventually walked away from early leader Rock with attitude. Im Bobby tried to join Keayang Zahara, but was then dropped to fourth position.
With nothing to match him against Jason Lee on Keayang, Zahara was content with a comfortable pace and she came away with a late 31.5 seconds for the second quarter.

Rockinwithattitude tried to stay with Keayang Zahara and Im Bobby briefly looked to issue a challenge but on straightening Keayang Zahara was still coasting and Lee just edged to the line just under ten meters ahead of a brave Rockinwithattitude with Im Bobby another twelve meters away in third.
The win was Keayang Zahara’s 23rd from 24 appearances and she has now won $1,010,535 in betting money.
The mare now only needs to win the Great Southern Star on Hunter Cup night on February 14 to earn her connections a $500,000 bonus.
Jason Lee was impressed with his wonder mare’s performance.
She was great. It’s not the easiest track and they clearly corner very well. To be on the safe side, I put her on a longer bike tonight. But she was great. I’ll probably just walk back a little bit. But she never put a step wrong. She still had a little left. She did it quite easily. I’m very happy.
The team will be watching her and making plans, but I would say it will be the Great Southern Star because it makes sense for the Great Southern Star to be a Heat in the Finals. It’s quite unique that she’s never done that before, but I’m sure she can handle it just fine.
Winning every race is fantastic. You’ll never lose it, especially if you’re lucky enough to be behind one. It is noticeable that she has quite an effect on people and that you have to give these really good horses to the people and let them be part of everyone. Everyone loves a champion.
