Kate Middleton reportedly wants to live ‘off the grid’ as her family moves into their new forever home.
In August, news broke that the Princess of Wales and Prince William will move to Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park with their three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7. They will remain even after William becomes king.
This was said by a palace insider Radaronline The 43-year-old royal has undergone a “huge shift in perspective” since her cancer diagnosis and is now “more determined than ever” to focus on “her health, her children and the environment around them.”
“Forest Lodge is perfect because it gives them space, privacy and the opportunity to live much more sustainably,” says the insider.
“She wants to grow their own food, use renewable energy and spend as much time outside as possible. In short, she wants to live a lot more off-grid.”

The Wales family lived in Adelaide Cottage, located near Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England.
That’s what insiders said The sun they are hoping for a “fresh start” after a difficult time at Adelaide Cottage, which saw Queen Elizabeth die and Kate and King Charles diagnosed with cancer.
Minor internal and external renovations have already started at Forest Lodge – and the Waleses are aiming to be there by Christmas.
Kate was spotted choosing new furniture to decorate the new abode, including a 24-seater table.
The property is owned by the King and managed by The Crown Estate.
Forest Lodge was last renovated in 2001 at a cost of £1.5 million ($A3.1 million) and went on the rental market for £15,000 ($A31,000) per month.
At the time, the eight-bedroom property was valued at £5.5 million ($A11.4 million), but according to house price indices the house would be worth around £16 million ($A32 million) if sold on the open market.

The Wales family previously lived at Kensington Palace in Apartment 1A.
The Daily mail previously reported that the Wales family was moving because they had “outgrown” their current home.
It was previously reported that William and Kate were presented with the keys to Royal Lodge.
However, Prince Andrew, who moved into the mansion in 2004, has refused to move after taking an “iron lease” that runs until 2078.
Another plan to move the family to a wing of Windsor Castle also appears to be off the table.
William and Kate moved their family to Adelaide Cottage in 2022. They moved there to be close to the Lambrook School for children.
Before moving into the four-bedroom house, the Waleses lived in a lavish 20-room Kensington Palace apartment, which has been dubbed a ‘prison for children’.
The family lived in apartment 1A from 2017 to 2022 and Kate and William still use it as their official office.
