The Karlawinda Gold project through CHAND METALS (ASX: CMM, OTC Pink: CRNLF) Is now clear to start all the extensive mining activities.
In a Tuesday (July 29) editionSteenborn said that the mining proposal and the mining plan for the project was approved by the West -Australia Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (Demirs).
The expansion of Karlawinda was first unveiled by the company last January, after the announcement of the takeover of the Deadman Flat project in Pilbara.
According to Capricorn, the rental properties of Deadman Flat cover about 270 square kilometers consecutively on his Karlawinda Gold project, making the expansion possible.
The company strives for Karlawinda to increase gold production by 25 percent, on a peak of 150,000 ounces per year.
“We have worked hard over the past 12 months to be as prepared as possible for the start of the project and that should be able to make an accelerated start to construction,” said Mark Clark, executive chairman of Capricorn.
After approval, Karlawinda can now continue with all the extensive mining activities in Bibra, Southern Corridor and Berwick Open Pits and the construction of the extensive processing factory.
The approval also includes the construction and development of the storage facility 2 (TSF2), extra ROM path, extensions to the southern waste dump and other required infrastructure development.
Capricorn also announced on July 24 acquisition from Warriedar Resources (ASX: WA8, OTC: WRDRF) and the Golden Range project flagship.
The announcement stated that Gold Equivalent of 2.3 million grams (MOZ) will be added to the source of Capricorn, about 25 percent more than its existing West -Australian mineral resource -based of 6.8 moz.
Subject to certain conditions, the acquisition is expected to close in November 2025.
