The former Rizin Bantamweight champion Kai Asakura returns to the UFC Octagon at UFC 319 Against Tim Elliot. Despite his one-sided loss for the dominant UFC flying champion, Alexandre Pantoja, Asakara now feels really prepared for the UFC atmosphere and rules that are stuck if the Japanese star would state at his press conference in the Mediadag.

“Yes, I wanted to return earlier, but this time I use to improve and tackle my weaknesses and I am already there. I have now experienced the UFC style. The last game was my first time, so I was not really used to how UFC style works. But now I experienced it.”

Kai Asakura is looking for salvation in the UFC.

Although he reached the stars in his UFC debut, he was short of one of the best flight weight champions of all time. Now fighting the ranking to compete against former title finer Tim Elliot, this is where we really see where Kai Asukara is in the UFC, because this is perhaps a do-or-that fight for the largest star in MMA in Japan.
