Excellent three -year -old Jungle Dragon (Fear the Dragon) stamped himself as an important competition for the New South Wales Breeders Challenge when he scored one of the easiest victories in his heat of the Nutrien Equine Breeders -challenging Bathurst on Wednesday evening.
Fresh from his victory in the Cobbity Equine New South Wales Blue Breeders Challenge Jungle Dragon used his beneficial barrier 2 draw and driver Jason Hewitt let the gelding go to the lead.
Second favorite Sweet in Lexy was wide early, but then maneuvered in the One Out and One Back Trail. Van de Pool draw was foolish behind the leader.
