Lee won on home soil in South Korea when he recorded an emphatic three-shot victory the 2025 Genesis Championship.
The South Korean started the final round four shots back, but in a final round of seven under par he finished at eleven under par. That was enough to beat Nacho Elvira by three shots.
Lee previously won twice as a professional, the first of which came in 2017 when he won the Caido Golden V1 Open on the Caido Series.
He also triumphed in the 2018 Golfzon DYB Education Tour Championship on the Korean PGA Tour.
