Minnesota Timberwolves Power Forward Julius Randle is through and through the resident of Texas. The 30-year-old was born in Texas and lived there during his youth and secondary school. He did not leave the state to the university, where he spent a year in Kentucky before he introduced the NBA design of 2014. That is why it should not be surprising that he is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. Just like most cowboys fans and NFL fans in general, Randle responded to the beautiful trade in Micah Parsons.

Micah Parsons trade not leaked Julius Randle

On Thursday it brought the shocking news that the Cowboys Parsons exchanged to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for Kenny Clark and two first round picks. The much-published contract conflict between Parsons and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones resulted in the 26-year-old superstar who was treated.

Randle went on X to share his dissatisfaction with the trade. It is a sentiment that is shared by the majority of the fan base of the cowboys.

Cowboys fans will be shown the pass Rusher extraordinaire exactly one month after this deal is closed. In week 4 of the NFL season on September 28, the Packers will go to Dallas.

Randle has not seen many team success of his cowboys

It is understandable why Randle would say that it is difficult to be a cowboy fan. He was not there to see them during the Troy Aikman/Emmitt Smith/Michael Irvin days when they won three Super Bowls. They became known as ‘America’s team’, a name that still exists for them, but is not much useful in view of their recent lack of success.

Randle was born on November 29, 1994. The date of the most recent Super Bowl victory of the Cowboys was January 28, 1996. It is safe to say that Randle was not yet a cowboy fan, because he was only 14 months old. They have not even reached the NFC Conference Championship game since then, so the triple NBA All-Star has to see his favorite NFL team make a deep play-off run.

His cowboys fandom was a point of discussion for a few Knicks fans when he played for them. Of course, many Knicks fans also root for the Giants, an NFC East -Rival of the Cowboys.

In the meantime, Randle is preparing for his second regular season with the Timberwolves after being traded to them in the low season of 2024. The wolves have reached the Western Conference final over the past two seasons and are deeper in the play -offs than the cowboys have in three decades.
