You need certain types of players for the 4-3-3 system. This ensures that the system is fluent and perfect. That looks difficult. However, it can be solved. Enzo Maresca did this with Wilfred Ndidi by playing him as a 10. Winks was left as a 6. Dewsbury-Hall was in that 8 position. The setup is not ideal. However, it is good enough to win the division. It helps to build a good and solid midfield trio in this system.
Aaron Ramsey is a good alternative such as 10, Jordan James should be able to work well as an 8 and Hamza Choudhury is a natural 6. In the game vs. Coventry was James de 10, Choudhury on the couch and Aaron Ramsey not available. Harry Winks is more suitable than an 8 than a 6. His tackling is far from good enough to work in this role. Soumare is not easy to find out because he looks restless while playing, having problems to adapt offensive and defensive.

It was disappointing to see Jordan James play a bit out of his role. I would like to see him as an 8, and not as a 10. He never really made the movement that had to be a real threat.
