The big first season of Juan Soto with the Mets added another impressive footnote, while his shot to the midfield in the fourth inning on Friday evening wore the 408 -feet board on Citi Field.

The Mets exploded for a huge inning with that three-run explosion and Soto established a career high with his 42nd Homer of the season. The “MVP” singing followed.

The field error of Dylan Crews on the single from Pete Alonso was able to score an undeserved run in the first.

Francisco Lindor hit a single for the Mets and scored the single from Alonso from the first as crew members.

Sloppy defense by the Mets helped the Nationals to score four points in the third. Sproat threw Jorge Alfaro’s winding bumps away for an error before Jacon Young walked to load the bases.



James Wood hit a double game to bind it 1-1 before CJ Abrams launched a shot to left-mids that Jose Siri’s glove hit and brought in two points.

Marte’s RBI land in the seventh in the ninth point of the Mets.

Jeff McNeil hit a single in the inning and Pinch-Runner Luisangel Acuña Stole Second.

Acuña drew a basin loaded walk in the eighth that broadened the shortage of the Nationals to 10-6.

Nimmo’s subsequent two-run single turned the game into a runner.
