The Selangor State Road Transport Department (JPJ) aggressively carries out an emergency aid processing to detect any director and commercial vehicle that violates traffic regulations. Last week the operation was performed at various locations, including around Shah Alam, Jalan Meru Klang, Jalan Bukit Kemuning and Bukit Kajang Toll.
In one of the operations, JPJ Selangor has arrested a Sri Lankan citizen who controls a factory bus that has expired for five years. The suspect’s arrest was held when he brought 25 Bengalian factory workers from Shah Alam to Pandamaran, reports Cosmo.
According to Selangor Road Transport Department (JPJ) Director Azrin Borhan, the investigation has also discovered the suspect for managing the bus over the past six months without a professional driving permit (PSV) and a competent driver’s license (CDL).
“The interrogation showed that the foreign man was driving because his employer was asked. Not only the road tax had expired, but the PUSPAKOM inspection had expired.
According to him, 10 summons were issued on the vehicle with various violations, including the engine Vehicle License (LKM), no insurance, expired inspection and not a valid driver’s license. The case is being investigated on the basis of section 16 of the Land Public Transport Act and section 80 of the Land Public Transport Act.
Moreover, due to the same operation, it also spent a summons on a commercial vehicle that has violated the traffic regulations, including LKM, not CDL and GDL. In fact, there are also trucks that are still being held with the help of ties that are in serious circumstances.
