ATLANTA – Josh Hart will miss at least two more games with his sprained right ankle, league sources said.

The starting forward, who had already been ruled out of Saturday’s 128-125 win over the Hawks, did not travel on the team’s road trip. He will also be in New Orleans on Monday and San Antonio on Wednesday.

Hart’s status will be updated before the Knicks host the Hawks on Jan. 2, a source said.

Hart suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the win over the Cavaliers on Christmas, when his foot twisted on defenseman Dean Wade. Hart then hit two free throws — he was fouled on the play — and limped to the locker room.

Hart is averaging 12.3 points, eight rebounds and 5.1 assists in 28 games this season. The Knicks are 11-3 with him as the starter.

Another Knick, Landry Shamet, who is more than a month removed from a right shoulder injury, has transitioned to on-court activities but is not yet reaching out, a league source said.

Shamet dislocated that same shoulder before last season. His contract becomes guaranteed on January 10.

Amid DNPs and trade talks, Guerschon Yabusele said his Knicks experience was difficult because he tried to go with the flow.

It is not what the Frenchman expected after signing a two-year contract worth $11 million in the summer.

“Obviously not. Otherwise I wouldn’t be here,” Yabusele said in an interview with French publication L’Equipe, as translated by Google. “It’s difficult. I say this without hesitation. It’s very difficult to deal with it mentally. I’m a competitor, I like to make mistakes, improve and learn.”

“Also, I’m not necessarily at my best at the beginning of my seasons, but rather with time and my adaptability. [I get better]. Also in New York I had to adapt and see how everyone plays. If the coach thinks I shouldn’t play, for reasons that are his own, I unfortunately have to accept that. And stay positive for the good of the team. Things will change when they need to change.”
