Josh Hart forgot there are cameras everywhere.
The Knicks’ star forward and longtime friend of Jalen Brunson was caught on camera with his thumb in a spot where it shouldn’t be after the team’s NBA Cup victory Tuesday night.
“Damn in 4k,” Hart lightheartedly posted on X with four laughing, crying emojis after a video showed Hart extending his thumb right behind Brunson’s backside.
Hart and the Knicks celebrated their NBA Cup championship, having just defeated the San Antonio Spurs 124-113, sealing the third edition of this regular season tournament.
After the game and celebration, Hart also said that Brunson “is probably the best inch for inch,” as he burst out laughing.
Brunson, quickly feeling the poke around his backside, immediately stopped celebrating and turned to see which of his teammates was having fun at his expense.
After initially looking to the back of the Knicks pile where Miles McBride was celebrating, Brunson quickly realized it was his ex-Villanova teammate who was the guilty party.
Hart continued to celebrate as if nothing had happened, but Brunson was not fooled.
This isn’t the first time Hart had fun with Brunson.
In February 2025, Brunson was doing a postgame interview when Hart was tapped on the butt in a separate incident.
Brunson then swore on television while being interviewed by Alan Hahn.
“F-king motherfucker,” Brunson said.
Both Hart and Brunson played very well in the win, with an efficient 5-for-7 shooting performance from Hart, including 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
Brunson scored 25 points to earn MVP honors, while OG Anunoby led all scorers with 28 points and nine rebounds.
