It took more than two months, but Josh Giddey has his big money contract with the Bulls.
The limited free agent has agreed to a four -year contract of $ 100 million with Chicago, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The 6-foot-8 guard could have chosen to take the one-year-old qualifying offer of $ 11.14 million and to become an unlimited free agent, but in the end he received his payment day.
Giddey came to De Bulls in June 2024 via an exchange of the Thunder, the team that prepared him with the sixth general choice in 2021.
He spent three seasons in Oklahoma City until the franchise had applied him to Chicago in exchange for Alex Caruso – who eventually played a crucial role in the Thunder’s 2025 championship.
The 22-year-old got out of favor with the Thunder after his struggle to shoot the long ball in his last season with the team in the late season.
But Giddey really found his Groove in Chicago – especially in the back of the season.
In his season with the Bulls he had an average of 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists on 46.5/37.8/78.1. The assists, rebounds and 37.8 three -point percentage were all career heights.

But the last quarter of the season is where things started for Giddey, because he had an average of 21.4 points, 10.7 rebounds and 9.1 assists in his last 20 games of the season with 49.5/44.3/81 shooting splits.
After signing again with the Bulls, Giddey projects a building block for the team in addition to a young core of 2024 nr. 11 Pick Matas Buzelis, 2025 Nr. 12 Pick Noa Essengue and 25-year-old Coby White.
