John Bolton, the former national security adviser of Trump, hit the Tulsi Gabbard report and accused former President Barack Obama of going into a “long -standing coup” against President Donald Trump.
Gabbard, the director of National Intelligence, released the evidence last week that she said that a “treacherous conspiracy” revealed by Obama and his government about the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 elections.
Bolton, a frequent Trump critic, called the findings of Gabbard “exaggerated” and was missing in substance.
“She has held a series of things that are not necessarily related, she has exaggerated what real congress reports have said, she has thought that the proof that does not exist,” Bolton said on Friday News.
“So, if someone really goes in, it will quickly collapse. But if a campaign to save her job, I think it actually succeeded pretty successful for her,” he continued. Last month, Polito reported that the president was ‘on her’.
“Whether it was successful to distract from the Jeffrey Epstein affair, I don’t know,” he added, referring to the media -fire storm about Trump’s ties with the deceased sex offender that the administration has been harassed for weeks. “But there is essentially nothing and certainly no justification for the Ministry of Justice to start a criminal investigation.”
The Gabbard report accuses Obama and the former intelligence community of leaking false information to the media and the use of “politized intelligence” to undermine the election victory of Trump 2016. She spoke to the Witte House report this week. The report uses a study by Republicans in the House of Representatives and goes against CIA reports in that Russia tried to help Trump in 2016.
“The information that we release today clearly shows that in 2016 a treacherous conspiracy had been committed by officials at the highest level of our government,” said the director of the National Intelligence rack.
“Their goal was to undermine the will of the American people and to perform what was essentially a coup with the aim of using the president to fulfill the mandate that the American people have donated.”
In the aftermath of the release of the report, Democrats-, including Obama-de Trump government, accused trying to deduce from the commotion about the so-called EPstein files.
“These bizarre accusations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction,” said a spokesperson for the former president’s office.
Trump has tried to distance themselves from Epstein. He even went so far that he claimed that the Epstein files were a “hoax” that was reached by Democrats, including Obama, former President Biden and former FBI director James Comey.
The Epstein files have dominated the news cycle since the Ministry of Justice has issued a memo of 6 July that stated that there would be no further disclosures and that there was no evidence to support the existence of a customer list, so that a decisive end to months of expectations for more information about the case was placed.
