Joe Cole talked about Newcastle United.
The former wing player in Liverpool and England will discuss the game on Monday evening in St James’ Park.
Joe Cole also talks about the other ‘problems’ around this competition.
The Newcastle against Liverpool game that takes place seven days before the Summer’s Summer’s Summer.
It promises to be a night …
Joe Cole talks for Newcastle United to Liverpool in the Premier League:
“The story that goes in this game has become monumental in recent weeks.
“The Alexander Isak -Saga that has dominated the summer will go through and will cast a shadow over the game on Monday evening.
“I don’t like how he behaves. I try to look at it from his perspective and I understand, but on a personal level I don’t think it’s good and I can’t see a way back for him.
“However, let’s not forget what a great game this will be.
“Liverpool got their season a great start with the victory over Bournemouth, and Newcastle earned more than the point they won in Villa Park.
“With that in mind I go with a draw in this game because I can’t separate them.
“I was taking care of Newcastle for last weekend, but looking at how they set up and performed, they will do well.
“It will also be a high scoring game, both teams will have opportunities to score more than once, so I look at more than 3.5 goals.
“As usual for a Liverpool game, I go with Mo Salah to score. He scored at the end of last week, making it seven goals in eight opening day matches for him and I can see him another here because he is a machine.
“For Newcastle I am going to support Anthony Gordon to score. He played in a central position last week and he found out almost three or four times, one of which led to shipping. He could be a good bet to score in every Newcastle match this season.”
Some interesting predictions there from the former player in England, who predicted a draw, at least four goals and both Mo Salah and Anthony Gordon to score.
I would not argue against one of these four things that happen, in what it certainly looks like to be a full meeting.
What happens to Alexander Isak?
What matters, the only thing that matters on Monday evening is Eddie Howe and his team that delivers three points.
Then Newcastle United Liverpool can tell that they do not get Alexander Isak for every price, especially not cheap.
