LIVERPOOL have been linked with many players in recent weeks and some big names have been mentioned, but it appears Jacquet is the club’s top transfer target and the board have been working hard to secure a deal.
However, in recent weeks the potential move has stalled as most clubs seemingly do not want to meet the asking price set by the French club, but that has changed in recent times and now Liverpool have agreed to sign Jacquet.
The young French star comes to LIVERPOOL on a deal worth around £60 million and has reportedly agreed a contract worth around £100,000 a week for the next four years as Liverpool look to solve their defensive problems.
Now that Liverpool have signed the defender, journalist Julien Laurens has hailed Liverpool’s signing of Jeremy Jacquet, claiming he will be an excellent signing for the Reds if he completes the move.
