Love’s elite long speed makes him a home run threat every time he touches the ball. Love can make defenders miss in the open field through jukes or hurdles while maintaining excellent contact balance. His running style doesn’t stop there as he is explosive enough to take the perimeter, turning a three-yard run into a 65-yard home run. Love is a dynamic, game-changing weapon.
As for Love’s areas of improvement, he is limited in his power, but that’s not a knock on him because that’s not his running style. Love is a thinner back, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s lighter than 214 pounds. where it is mentioned. Watching Love won’t leave you bruised. I compare his playing style to LeSean McCoy. Love’s game is based on elusiveness in the open field and should be used in the same way De’Von Achane is used in Miami. I also wonder about Love’s pass protection. I don’t suspect it’s a problem, but from the games I’ve scouted, he was limited in pass protection, which could indicate Notre Dame wasn’t prioritizing him in protection schemes.
