Jazz Signing Mo Bamba has anything but confirmed what is before Kevin Love

The Utah Jazz is not finished making movements. Not long after the KJ Martin team had cut, the team today signed the former Lottery Pluk Mo Bamba. Bamba may not have realized the hype, but he has succeeded in staying in the NBA for seven seasons. Signing him shows that even if the plan is to keep love, his place in the team’s opening night schedule must be earned.

After much speculation that the jazz would cut love immediately, it is now the conviction that he will be there at least for their training camp. It may seem strange that Love would resume his career in a team like Utah, but all the indications are that he has no market and for the time being the best remains in a jazz man.

But that does not mean that his place in the team is safe. Love may have a guaranteed contract, but it is not much, and Utah would not have much to lose by cutting him. They indicated that even if he will get his money, his place in the team is far from safe with Bamba who compete for a place in the team.

Why Bamba will give love motivation to play his heart

Love has been in the NBA for 10 years than Bamba, but compare their current NBA career, their individual effects are similar, despite their different playing styles. Both come from seasons where they did not play that often – Bamba played five more games than Love did – and that is why he did not alter the world exactly. In other words, they are perfect to have as an emergencyback -ups.

Although love is paid more, Bamba is younger, the jazz gives some rim protection and on paper it seems more likely that he could give Utah more than love, given the age difference. He is a good bar for love to erase if he wants to stay in the show. If he thrives as a backup, he can even give Jusuf Nurkic a run for his money.

As a result, Utah has little to lose. They probably cut Martin because they could not find a love for love, but also because removing his deal is easier, seen how much it saved them in comparison with love, whose contract they would have had to swallow if they cut him.

They could still do that, and signing Bamba is a fairly good sign that they are willing if love shows that his tank is empty. This should take care of the training camp fight, even if it is for 15th place on the Roster.
