All indications are that Kevin Love will be with the Utah Jazz for training camp. Honest question: while nobody keeps this, someone does want to this? The answer is no, and although it seems that the jazz has no better options, they can solve this problem by exchanging it for a young player who is worth a flyer.
Dan Favale van Bleacher Report presented a three -way trade between Jazz, Washington Wizards and New York Knicks in which the following would be changed.
Receive Knicks: Justin Champagne
Receive jazz: Pacome Dadite
Wizards received: Love, 2026 First round pick (his own*, via New York) $ 1.8 million cash (via Utah)
The jazz is more or less a side issue in this deal (such as the Luka Doncic Deal), but Favale gave a solid reason why they would trade that way.
“For all different young people on the Roster, Utah’s wing pool runs dry after Ace Bailey and Cody Williams. Dadite has only 111 NBA minutes under his belt and has not played too many heads by two summer Lague Stints. But he has just turned 20 in July and has three years on his side on his side.

In short, the reasoning would be: “Hey, why not?” Utah would not have much to lose when taking a flyer on a dadite. There is no easy solution for what Utah does with love. Although he will participate in their training camp, it still remains in the air whether he will actually make the team. Finding a profession for him who gives them a player who can try to develop them and at the same time help their CAP flexibility is quite optimal.
The most likely result is that love is being removed, whether it is at the start of the season or around the buy -out season, or he is traded as a salary filler in another deal. It is not as if he would get a lot of return to an exchange, unless Utah trades him in the same way that Miami did.
It is not as if the jazz should feel busy keeping love or getting away, but it is a subject that is worth discussing, because nobody thought he would be in the team for two months a week after they had him.
