Jannik Sinner reveals Australian Open outfits – Day in yellow, night in green

Jannik Sinner’s fans have gotten a first glimpse of his look for the upcoming Australian Open.

Two different Nike outfits have been unveiled, designed for contrasting day and night sessions in Melbourne.

For sunny action, world no. 2 and the defending champion steps onto the field in a dark yellow polo paired with clean white shorts. The shirt is much darker than the one he wore in January.

It reflects Jannik’s sharp, minimalist style. When the lights come on at Rod Laver Arena, the Italian switches to an olive green ensemble, accented with yellow detailing on the shorts, similar to those from his daily outfit.

It’s a mix of aggression and elegance reserved for primetime thrillers set in Melbourne Park. The 24-year-old completed his off-season preparation in Dubai and headed to Italy for a holiday.

World No. 2 will train in Monte Carlo before heading to Seoul for a friendly against Carlos Alcaraz. The Italian will then turn his focus to the Australian Open title defense.

Melbourne has been Jannik’s stronghold since 2024. The San Candido native claimed back-to-back trophies after notable victories over Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev.

Sinner’s first Major crown came Down Under in 2024. He defeated Djokovic in the semi-finals without facing a break point. In the final he had to work much harder against Medvedev.

The Russian claimed the first two sets before the Italian turned the tables and pulled off a stunning comeback to claim his first Major trophy on May 23. Jannik was the favorite in Melbourne this year.

He survived a frightening moment of physical weakness and reached another final. Sinner faced Alexander Zverev and sealed the deal in straight sets. Jannik grabbed the crucial points and kept the pressure on the German in a 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 win.

Sinner has been the dominant force in men’s tennis after the US Open. He finished the season on a high note and was boosted in the run-up to the Australian Open.

If he captures the first Major of the season for the third year in a row, Jannik will become only the second player in the Open era to achieve that, after Novak Djokovic.
