Jake Paul expects to fight in 2026 despite a broken jaw, says MVP co-founder

Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian has provided an update on Jake Paul’s current condition following his recent surgery to repair his broken jaw.

While Jake Paul certainly has his share of critics, many respected the fact that he stepped into the ring to fight Anthony Joshua last Friday night. Of course, things didn’t go quite his way, with Paul suffering a knockout defeat that led to his jaw being broken. Still, he survived until the sixth round, something we think we’ll be hearing a lot from ‘The Problem Child’ as we look ahead to his boxing future.

One of the main men responsible for helping make this event happen is Nakisa Bidarian. He has been by Jake Paul’s side throughout the MVP endeavor, and that will likely remain the case as they look to grow their brand and move further into the mainstream with their blockbuster events.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Bidarian said the following about Jake Paul’s current state of mind and physical health.

Nakisa Bidarian’s take on Jake Paul’s future

“He’s doing great,” Bidarian said. Obviously there are periods during the day when there is a lot of pain. Periods when there is actually no pain.

“The recovery process will take five to six weeks. And he is focused on his return to boxing in 2026.”

Bidarian added: “I don’t view a broken jaw as career-ending or career-defining. In MMA, that’s true [Junior] dos Santos broke his jaw, had plates put in it, came back and then became champion.”

Paul will have many big fights ahead of him if he wants to continue pursuing a boxing career, and who knows, he might even fight for a world title one day.
