Jade Carey makes a strong decision about US Gymnastics Classic

At the Olympic Games of Paris 2024, Jade Carey started fighting the week against a stomach disease, unable to eat and often surrender. During qualifications, weakened by illness, only stumbled and scored 10,633 on the floor, but she refused to stop. On Vault Day she had recovered enough to land a Cheng -vault (14,733) and a solid second vault, on average 14,466 to claim bronze. That resilience not only earned her an individual medal, but also fed the gold of Team USA in the team final. Since then, elite gymnastics have been waiting to see the same magic again, but for now Paris remains the last elite gymnastics that comes together for Jade Carey with this new announcement.

The US Classic 2025 is planned for 18-19 July 2025, in the Nu Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. It serves as the last qualifying match for both junior and senior elite turrets aimed at the 2025 American championships in New Orleans. Days earlier, on July 13, Inside Gymnastics Magazine Taken to their official Instagram hand to place a photo of Jade Carey from the 2024 US Championships and snapshot for mid-routine, which did a gray gymnastics suit. The overlay text at the bottom reads in all caps, “”Jade Carey is not registered for the US Classic 2025 in July.

Further in the caption, they wrote: ‘➡️➡️➡️ Olympic gold medal winner Jade Carey has not registered to compete on this month’s American classic elite competition. After an absolutely fantastic senior season with Oregon State University, where she competed for a number of high-level skills, many wondered if they could follow an elite path this year. ” The Olympian had achieved the prestigious AAI prize from 2025 for its final annual performance at the University of Oregon, as her form was. Of course the gymnastics community had its fans who wish a show on elite levels.

The magazine further wrote: “Although she has not excluded it, it seems that she takes a well-deserved break and travel after NCAA non-stop to Elite to Olympics to tour to NCAA. Carey continues to have an incredible impact on and outside the competition floor, and whatever path she chooses in the sport, we always carrot her!
