In the latter Associated Press Top 25 Pollreleased at 2 p.m., De Hoosiers rose one place from no. 8 to no. 7.
De Hoosiers were no. 20 in the first Associated Press Top 25 Poll of the Season and broke the top 10 last weekend after a victory against Iowa in Kinnick Stadium.
Penn State fell completely from the Top 25 survey after the shocking loss at UCLA. The Nittany Lions were number 7 last week.
The six teams for IU in the AP poll are Ohio State, Miami (FL), Oregon, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Oklahoma. Michigan is in 15th place and Illinois is 17th.
Penn State, Nebraska, USC and Washington all received votes in the AP poll.
In The latest US LBM Coaches Top 25 PollDe Hoosiers boarded two places from no. 9 to no. 7.
Penn State fell from no. 6 to no. 22 in the survey of the coaches. Texas fell from no. 7 to no. 19 after the loss in Florida.

Other Big Ten teams arranged in the top 25 of the Coaches Poll are no. 15 Michigan and no. 17 Illinois.
Washington, USC, Nebraska and Iowa have all received votes.
Indiana travels to Eugene on Saturday to compete against Oregon in Autzen Stadium. Kickoff is set at 3.30 pm et CBS.
