ITTF Tribunal Full decision confirms the legitimacy of the annual General Meeting and Presidential elections – International Table Tennis Federation

On September 23, the ITTF Tribunal made its full written decision, after the operative decision of 1 September 2025, in their entirety the appeal submitted by the Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA) and Mr. Khalil Al Mohannadi. The tribunal confirmed the validity of the ITTF -annual general meeting of 2025 and the election of Mrs. Petra Sörling as the ITTF president on 27 May 2025.

This extensive and independent statement definitively confirms the legitimacy of the presidential election, maintains the integrity of the institutions of ITTF and strengthens its status as on rules -based, democratic international federation.

ITTF tribunal findings

The tribunal concluded that the AGM was convened correctly and was regularly governed, in full compliance with the ITTF statutes and Swiss law. Furthermore, it was of the opinion that no alleged irregularity, individual or collective, the void declaration of the results was justified. In particular, the tribunal discovered that:
