ITTF Pan American U11 & U13 Championships: Recap

The ITTF Pan American U11 & U13 championships ended last week in Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala. Americans wiped the singles events with strong versions across the board in the recommended events.

The U13 Singles event of the boys saw all four American entries reach the semi -final. Chirag Pradhan defeated Andrew Huang in one semi -final and Xianliang, he defeated Jaden Jia in the other. In the end it was Chirag Pradhan who claimed the title with a 3-1 win over. Two Americans stood opposite each other in one semi -final with Angel and defeated Abigail Yu. Angel, he then went to the top of the Canadian Olivia Wang in the final.

In the hope of the hope of boys, the US of the US, Jacob Kordus and Saivaishnav Senthilkumar, Brazil defeated 3-1. The third place teams were Venezuela and Canada. The title of the hope of the hope of girls also went to Teamusa with Holly Huang, Karina Xiao and Bavier Gsiung Peru beat 3-0. The third place finishers were Canada and Ecuador. Team USA also won the Hopes Boys’ Doubles with Jacob Kordus and all Mao at the top of Brazilian Ranieri Araujo and Luis Ferreira with 3-0. Hope that the doubles of girls were all-American with Natalie Chang and Beerier Hsiung who defeated Holly Huang and Karina Xiao 3-1. And for the clean sweep in the hope, it was Sayan Jafa and Natalie Chang who defeated Venequela in the hope of mixed doubles.

All four semi -finalists were Americans at the U11 Boys Singles event. Jacob Kordus finished first, all Mao finished second and Saivaishnav Senthilkumar and Sayan Jafa finished third. The U11 girls singles prices all went to Americans. Karina Xiao finished first, Holly Huang in second place, and Natalie Chang and Beerier Hsiung finished in third position.

Mini-Cadet Boys’ teams went to the US with Jaden Jia, Chirag Pradhan and Xianliang He won 3-1 above Brazil. Peru and Ecuador finished in third position. Teamusa also won mini-cadet girls teams with Anagha Kasichainula, Abigail Yu and Emma Yang who defeated Guatemala 3-0, while Ecuador and Brazil finished in third position. Mini-Cadet Boys’ Doubles went to Brazil with Ecuador in second place, and Canadians Jesse Yin and Jimmy Zhu and Americans Chirag Pradhand and Andrew Huang end in third position. Mini-Cadet Girls Doubles went to Yu/Kasichainula about He/Yang in an all-American final with Canadians Wang/Zhu and Barros/Iwamoto in Brazil in third place. And Mini-Cadet Mixed went to Americans Jaden Jia and Abigail Yu about Argentina’s Mendez and Linares.
