It seems that the latest stunt from Alexander Isak and his agent seems to have been only one step too far for our fans, but the club itself and the wider media as a whole.
The social media outburst on Tuesday evening, where he claimed it was best for both him and the club he can leave this summer, has fallen as a main balloon, with people who are practically in line to criticize the striker and his childish antics.
With less than two weeks to go until the end of the window, Isak has forced a precarious situation in which he remains determined that he no longer plays, but only his presence keeps great strikers from joining us.
And former Spitss-Pond ally McCoist has had his say about the fiasco and said that Isak has done this entire saga in the completely wrong way.
Speaking on Talksport, Ally McCoist feels that Alexander Isak fans has abandoned how he has behaved in recent weeks and said that he should not have resorted to a public explanation, no matter how messy the situation has become.
McCoist thinks that a transfer request would have been ahead, not a statement behind the club that left the club, manager, his teammates and supporters only a week in the new season.

McCoist said: “The right way to do this is that you have submitted a transfer search, you have a chat with the manager and say:” I want to play my football somewhere else “and then the manager will sit down and have a chat with you.”
“The way he (Isak) set it, you could clearly see that he had a problem with Newcastle or a problem with someone in Newcastle. My argument is that he still should not and cannot do what he did.”
Just like colleague football players Yoane Wissa and later Wesley Fofana, Isak went to Instagram with a long explanation that said that “when promises are broken and the truth is lost, the relationship cannot continue.”
“Playing the toys from the pram is one thing, but actually making the explanation that you are no longer going to play for the club, and let yourself be abandoned and abandon the fans, I have a problem!”
“I understand that he will feel abandoned Alan (Brazil), but we can argue with the rights and mistakes with the Lord’s agreement, whose let him be abandoned, they are not in order, were the earlier owners, the new owners feel obliged to honor a men’s agreement made by the previous owners? That’s all for debate and a conversation that we can do.”
“What is not up for discussion, I don’t think he throws the toys out of the pram and then says that I no longer play for you. He mainly abandons the fans.”
The club quickly released a statement on Tuesday evening, the club confirmed its position that Isak is not for sale, and that certain conditions must be met before we even consider the departure of Isak.
Isak claims that he has been misled by the club and was previously promised so much more by the previous regime, but McCoist is clearly of the opinion that this is not of this interest now, because they are new staff and Isak would still have to continue to honor the club.
Isak burns bridges without a concern for someone other than himself, so it is difficult to see how he returns, especially when Howe is proud of a close -knit team that does not take care of bad eggs.
