Suns cannot let the Green take over from their attack
Devin Booker is a quadruple all-star and the face of the franchise. He should be their number one scoring option and main player. Book has the first team All-NBA potential, but the Suns must place the right pieces around him to maximize his skills.
Green is not that player. He is an insufficient shooter, questionable playmaker and problematic defender at this stage. The production of Green cratered in the play -offs while his efficiency fell. Fans who hope to see him break out, face a surprise.
His Telstatistics look impressive, but the rockets were 7.1 points per 100 assets better with Green on the bank last season. He was strictly a bucket-getter in a team that was desperately needed. Even then he couldn’t cut it as their top option in the play -offs.
Suns fans dream of breaking out of green green and his new franchise to the play -offs in Leiden, but that is no reality.
