Rome, GEGA – As the premier individual championship at the Division II, Division III, NAIA and Junior College levels in the fall, the 2025 ITA Cup will kick off on Thursday, October 16 and continue through Sunday, October 19 at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.

Dating back to 1986, the ITA Cup is one of the most storied tournaments at the Division II, Division III, NAIA and JUCO levels of play, with participants earning their spot in the draws through the ITA Regional Small College Championships, in which more than 8,000 student-athletes competed in 60 regional championships across the country.

Featuring many of the nation’s top players, three No. 1 players will make their national debuts at the 2024-25 ITA Cup at the end of the 2024-25 college tennis season. These players include Advik Mareedu (CMS), Santiago Villarruel (Georgia Gwinnett) and Violet Apisah (Keiser), each of whom has also won the singles title at the ITA Cup in recent years.

Many of the top doubles teams will also be on the court in Rome, including the 2024 ITA Cup Division III Women’s Doubles Champions, Eleanor Archer and Caitlin Bui (WashU), who will look to defend their title. Gage Gohl and Tyler Haddorff (Gustavus Adolphus), former NCAA Division III men’s doubles champions, will also look to impress this week as they enter the tournament as the No. 1 seeded doubles team.
